MRI Physics Services

Bio-Med provides MRI physics annual ACR compliance testing, accreditation, and related consulting services to hospitals and clinics. Our low-cost, all-inclusive annual service is performed by one of our team of qualified physics specialists at your site, at a time convenient to your schedule, and involving your MR techologist to evaluate and ensure compliance of your MR QA program with ACR requirements.

Annual ACR compliance testing

  • Fee is $570
  • Testing is usually completed in less than 3 hours
  • Hard copy report available the day of the visit
  • No fees for travel
  • Includes telephone / email follow-up
  • Experienced physicist meeting ACR requirements performs service on-site
  • Service is available at a time convenient to you (mornings, evenings, weekends)

Details

The American College of Radiology specifies annual physics evaluation of Magnetic Resonance Scanners. Bio-Med Associates provides ACR compliance services, including evaluation of the technologist's Q.C. program and evaluation of your MR safety protocols. Our physicist will provide you with documents specifying his education, certification, and continuing education which are retained for review during inspections. Our office staff will also track and remind your facility when testing is due.
